How to enable 2FA on your Origin/EA App account?
To enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Origin/EA App account, follow these steps:
• Sign in to your Origin/EA App account.
• From the upper right, press on your profile icon and choose “Account settings”.
• From the menu on the left, press “Security".
• Search for the “Login Verification” section and press “Turn on”.
• Identity verification will be needed so press “Send security code”.
• EA support will send an email with a code to your mailbox, so you need to check it. If you don't find the email, check your Spam folder.
• Insert the security code that was sent to your mailbox and press “Submit”.
• Choose the method you would like to receive the verification code: Text message, Authenticator App, or Email.
• If you choose Text message method, enter your phone number and confirm it with the automated code you will receive via text.
• If you choose the Authenticator App method, you will need to scan the QR code provided for the app of your choice.
• If you choose Email, confirm it with the code you will receive in your mailbox.
