How to change your Playstation account password?

In order to change your Playstation account password, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your Playstation account
2. From the upper right corner, press on your profile icon and choose “Account settings” from the drop-down menu.
3. From the list on left side, press “Security”.
4. You will be notified that you are being redirected to another page. Press “Continue” to proceed.
5. Click "Edit" next to the “Password” section
6. Insert your current password and new password in the designated fields.
7. Then press "Save".

Well done! Your password has been updated successfully.

Important: Your password must meet these criteria

• Must not contain your sign-in ID or online ID
• Must include only valid characters
• Must be at least 8 characters long
• Must not contain letters or numbers repeated three or more times consecutively (e.g. 666 or MMM)
• Must contain at least two of the following character types: number, letter, symbol
• Must not contain three or more sequential letters or numbers (e.g. 678 or ABC)
